For the price paid, the hotel was decent overall, though we had to request a room change due to the lack of air conditioning in the initial room. The apartments are situated up a steep hill from Queen Street, which can be a bit challenging.

We had to ask the staff to move us to another room the next day as the first one had no air conditioning. However, the new room was comfortable and clean.

The staff were helpful and resolved our issues promptly, though we were initially misinformed about internet charges. Eventually, a staff member assisted us with connecting to the Wi-Fi on his cell phone.

The location on Wakefield St makes it a short walk downhill to Queen Street and close to key attractions like Civic Theatre and Aotea Square. The parking, however, at $20 a night, is limited with tight turns and few spaces.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Uni & AUT, making it ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious enough for a short stay but could be larger for a big group. The service was accommodating, and the security measures provided a sense of safety. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of all our activities, though it can be noisy. The dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the laksa was a standout dish. Overall, a decent stay with good value for money.

The apartment was quite spacious and had a convenient ensuite bathroom and a wardrobe. The additional bathroom in the lounge, although tiny, provided a peaceful and quiet retreat, especially at night. However, the lack of washing/drying provisions for the crockery and the insufficient cutlery were drawbacks. The pricing seemed a bit high for the overall offering.
